The Bohemia Track Club, founded in 1976, is the largest and most active running club on the south shore of Suffolk County, Long Island, and offers a variety of activities to both the recreational and competitive runner. You don't have to be a competitive runner to be a member of the BTC. We welcome all runners, joggers and walkers of all ages and abilities. The only requirement is that you be involved with running or walking in some aspect and want to connect with others with the same interests.

The blue and white Bohemia Track Club shirts can be seen far and wide. Many of our members can be seen in the front of the pack, others can be seen in the middle of the pack running their hearts out or just enjoying the experience. Still others are in the back huffing and puffing, laughing and wondering why they are there. Our members vary in age from the 20 somethings to the 70 somethings. Regardless, Bohemia members support each other. The important thing is that we enjoy the running experience. So, if you see one of our shirts, or our banner come say hello!

Club meetings take place on the third Wednesday of each month at 8:00 PM. There is a brief business meeting that is followed by a guest speaker. The meetings are held at the Bohemia Recreation Center on Ruzicka Way which is off of Smithtown Avenue, one block north of Church Street in Bohemia.

Time to party!  Please note the meeting date change to Tuesday,
December 15.

The time will be 7-10PM.  The place is Grille in the Ville located at 756 Horseblock Rd., Farmingville.  The number at the Grille is 631-846-9905.

The cost is only $20 per person and that includes food and soda.  There is a bar if you want to buy drinks.

This is a busy time of the year so please take the time to send me(Estella Clasen) a check for the party made payable to the Bohemia Track Club.  My address is 3 Cedar Street, Bellport, NY 11713.  Food will have to be ordered and we need a head count so I need the monies in by Dec. 11.  I will also be at the Santa’s 5K Toy Trot on Dec. 6 if you want to give me your check then.

BTC member, Barry Lipsky had the honor of placing the fourth place medal at the NYC Marathon on Olympic medalist Christie Dawes of Australia.
